Registration Fee

  • Fee Details: A yearly, non-refundable registration fee is charged once a year on the anniversary of the first day you signed up.

Payments

  • Credit Card Requirement: A credit card must be on file for swim lesson payments. To provide your credit card information, either:

  • Year-Round Classes: Your card will be charged on or around the 1st of each month for a flat rate covering 4 classes. Some months may include 3 or 5 classes, but the average will be 4 per month.

  • Summer Sessions:

    • Active Members: Charged on the first day of the session.

    • Non-Active Members: Must pay both the registration fee and first class tuition upfront.

  • Acts of God: Fees are non-refundable in situations beyond our control, including weather-related cancellations.

Makeup Policy

  • Missed Classes: No make-ups are provided for missed classes. Exceptions may be made only for emergencies or extreme illness.

  • Weather Cancellations: If classes are canceled due to weather, the fees are non-refundable.

  • Pool Issues: We reserve the right to reschedule classes due to pool malfunctions or health-related incidents (e.g., fecal/vomit accidents).

Drop Procedure

  • Year-Round Program: To drop and/or terminate auto-billing, a 30-day written notice is required. Send your notice via email to frontdesk@goldswim.com.

  • Summer Sessions:

    • Priority Registration (March-May): Tuition is charged on the first day of the session. To drop a class:

      • Notify us via email at frontdesk@goldswim.com 30 days before the session begins for an immediate drop.

      • For notifications made 29 days to 7 days before the session starts, a credit for future lessons will be issued if the tuition was charged on the first day. No refunds will be issued after this period.

  • Responsibility: You are responsible for payment for your student’s classes whether or not they attend until you notify us via email or voicemail. Do not rely on your student to inform us of their attendance status.

What to Wear

  • Required Gear:

    • Swim suit

    • Goggles (preferred for all Advanced swimmers; Novice swimmers should consult the Site Supervisor)

    • Swim diaper (for children 4 and under)

    • 2 towels

    • Dry set of clothes

  • Optional: Swim caps

  • Jewelry: Should not be worn during classes. Leave all jewelry at home as the facility is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Ensure personal items are labeled with the student’s name.

Arrival and Pickup

  • Arrival: Arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled class time.

  • Parent Seating: Parents can watch from designated seating areas. We prefer at least one parent to stay, but if you must leave, inform the Lesson Director and provide a contact number.

  • Pickup: Pick up your student on time. If you will be late, inform us in advance. Students should wait inside the building and be escorted to your car upon arrival.

  • Parking Lot Safety: The parking lot can be crowded. Drive slowly and carefully to ensure the safety of all students. Do not allow your student to run to and from your car.
